A wonderful aspect of making a quilt is the fact that when it's given as a gift it often means a lot not only to the giver who likely spent many hours designing the quilt fabric to look just as it should, but it also means a lot to the recipient who will likely realize just how much time must have been spent on such a beautiful project. There are so many ways to show appreciation for someone as a friend or family member and learning to create a quilt is a wonderful method for doing that. The nice thing about quilting is it's also a great hobby.
