An interesting deal was recently brokered by the largest telecommunications company in the country of Canada which will end up having the Toronto Maple Leafs, which are an NHL team and the Toronto Raptors which are an NBA team owned by the same company. The interesting thing about sports teams that are in the same town is that even if they're not the same sport, they're often competing for the same viewers each season because their games are often broadcast during the same time and people don't always buy tickets to both kinds of games.
