There are a lot of people who come to college without very many clothes that are appropriate for a college setting and many of the fashionable designers don't make the right sort of casual clothing often worn by college students like comfortable jeans and patterned hooded sweatshirts. Nurses can often offer answers to general health questions and while they'll likely be dressed in just regular clothing instead of a pair of pink Fashion Seal scrubs, they can provide a vital link between patients who are unsure whether they need medical attention and those who need immediate assistance or advice about a vital issue.
