There are a lot of people who come to college without very many clothes that are appropriate for a college setting and many of the fashionable designers don't make the right sort of casual clothing often worn by college students like comfortable jeans and patterned hooded sweatshirts. From wearing Greek clothing as a part of a Fraternity to wearing what might actually be considered pajamas to things like a cafeteria breakfast or an early class, college clothing habits can seem pretty strange to non-college students. Most students will eventually get used to the interesting clothing choices and fit right in.
