A pair of riders on the Yamaha circuit, Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso, has said that they are very excited about the upcoming season after having gotten to ride new bikes featuring Yamaha parts and that they were lucky to get to test the new 1000cc YZR-M1 bike. In addition to having great rides, the event apparently offered pristine weather conditions and gave them a strong start to their practice sessions in preparation for 2012. One of the riders had recently switched from riding Honda bikes and was happy with his decision to switch to riding Yamaha bikes.
